We couldn't agree more. After a pretty good weekend (4th place both days) at Sonoma Raceway back in June, our team spent the entire month of July improving, learning, and preparing for Round 5 of the 2017 NASA Super Touring Series August 12th and 13th. Barely 3 weeks have passed since our last race, but it was once again time to pack our bags and head up to sunny Sonoma, CA for Round 4 of the 2017 NASA Super Touring Series (June 17-18). This weekend was special for a variety of reasons. First, it's rare for NASA to repeat racetracks back to back during the season. Second, it was Father's Day weekend. Round 3 of the 2017 NASA Super Touring series
Hey guys, Tom Tang here. I’m excited to write the first of many blog posts here on the Trackspec Autosports website. As you may have seen or heard, I’ve teamed up with Trackspec for the 2017 season and together we are campaigning my Honda S2000, “Irene,” in the NASA Super Touring series (in ST4 class).
Test Day at Buttonwillow with OnGrid
The team hasn't been to Buttonwillow Raceway in a really long time, since March 2016 to be specific. We also rarely do trackdays on a Sunday, but yesterday, May 14, 2017, was a great day with OnGrid. This event was special because it was the first time that our Trackspec Autosports Honda S2000 “Irene” was debuting after a complete refresh during the off-season.
Thunderhill West w/OnGrid
This past Saturday, March 18, we went to OnGrid's Thunderhill West trackday. Despite fears of wet weather, it only rained a couple minutes in the morning. The sun actually came out towards the end of the day.

NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill
What a weekend!!! We were invited to pit crew for Team Lotus Cup USA - PB Racing at NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill. Before I write about our experience, here are some facts about the race: Race was 11am Saturday, November 3 until 12pm Sunday, November 4. 66 Entries. We had 1 car out there: Lotus Elise Cup PB-R.
Thunderhill West with OnGrid
We had an amazing time out at OnGrid's trackday at Thunderhill West. It was pretty hot, around the 90s, but it was also really windy so that helped. Everyone did really well and beat their personal records.
Jon's Bday BBQ @ Laguna Seca
Yesterday, was fun! We closed the shop (Tuesday, June 14) to celebrate Jon's birthday at SpeedSF's Laguna Seca trackday. BBQin' on the paddock was a great idea!
Rainy Day at Thunderhill West with OnGrid
This past Saturday, on May 7, OnGrid through yet another fun and smooth event at Thunderhill West. Three factors made this day incredibly fun: 1) It was almost everyone's first time at this section of Thunderhill, 2) the track is short and windy, and 3) it was slippery due to on and off rain.
