Jon, as he is more commonly known, lives in Fremont, CA and is 35 years old. In 2021, we will see him compete in his very first Time Attack event and he’s excited about the prospect of doing so. He grew up building Hondas in his parents’ garage with input from both his father and step-father.

Project 345 Gets (A Little) Serious
Dec 13, 2022
This has been a good year for progress on Project 345, but I admit the bar was pretty low until now… After a couple track days, I decided it was finally time to get started with some more serious work. All good project updates begin with boxes, and this one was no different….Trackspec is always working on a variety of interesting short- and long-term projects, and I actually have a couple stories from the shop pending that I’ll need to share soon.

But it really all goes back farther than just four years...

S2000 Versus S2000
March 21, 2018
Head to any track event and you’ll spot at least a dozen S2Ks cruising around in various run groups. The FR layout makes it a perfect car to learn in, without relying on huge power to go fast, and it’s a great chassis for an experienced driver to push themselves in. It’s no surprise that you’d find a couple tucked in at Trackspec Autosports, a shop that specializes in track prep and maintenance.

Track-Inspired Or Trackspec?
June 30, 2017
Luckily for me, a shop that specializes in track car preparation got a special invitation to the show this year. And even luckier, Trackspec Autosports is right down the street from my new place in Fremont. I had seen their cars at a number of track days in Northern and Southern California, but never expected them to attend a show of this nature. Trackspec would be staying true to themselves and bringing real, function-driven builds that were made to go fast and go hard where it counts: the racetrack.
