Position Summary
The Operations Technician supports day-to-day shop workflow, organization, and parts logistics at Trackspec Autosports. This role bridges shop operations and technician support, ensuring the facility runs efficiently, cleanly, and professionally. The Operations Technician also provides oversight and direction to the Shop Assistant.

Technician Support
Assist technicians with vehicle staging and basic support tasks
Prepare vehicles and work areas for scheduled service
Support efficient shop workflow and bay readiness
Maintain proper handling and care of customer vehicles
Shop Cleanliness & Organization
Maintain Trackspec’s high standard of shop cleanliness
Ensure workspaces, common areas, and storage zones remain orderly
Implement and uphold shop organization systems
Identify and address inefficiencies in shop flow
Order Fulfillment & Parts Management
Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time
Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming parts
Maintain inventory accuracy and storage organization
Coordinate parts staging for upcoming jobs
Monitor low stock items and notify management
Team Coordination
Provide day-to-day direction to the Shop Assistant
Delegate appropriate support tasks
Help maintain accountability for shop standards
Communicate workflow needs to management

You are reliable, punctual, and take pride in doing things the right way. You work efficiently without needing constant supervision and are comfortable jumping in wherever the team needs support. You have a strong interest in cars and a genuine willingness to learn in a fast-paced shop environment.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience working in an independent automotive shop or dealership environment.
Valid California driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to comfortably drive manual transmission.
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Preferred, But Not Required
Experience towing a trailer
Interest in pursuing a long-term career in the automotive industry.
