11 Years of Trackspec: A Community Celebration

On June 1, 2025, we celebrated our 11th anniversary—a milestone we hadn’t marked since our 4th back in 2018. It had been a while, so we kept things simple: good food & drinks, and some fun raffle prizes. But wow, we were completely blown away by how many of you showed up just to offer your support and encouragement. After 11 years in the industry, the community that continues to surround us is nothing short of incredible. We’re truly humbled and grateful.

It’s taken me a couple of days to truly process how much this event meant to us. When we started Trackspec back in 2014, we had no idea just how far this journey would take us. The love you’ve all shown—especially during this celebration—was overwhelming in the best way.

We had the chance to reconnect with longtime customers, meet some amazing new faces, and welcome so many wonderful people into the mix. And seeing all the kids running around in Trackspec shirts? That was hands-down the best part.

Raffle

Every time we host an anniversary party, we love putting together a good raffle. It’s a great way to reconnect with our favorite vendors and share some awesome prizes with our guests. This year was no exception. Longtime supporters like GGLC, OnGrid, and GRP came through with amazing donations, and we were excited to welcome newer sponsors like Heatwave into the mix as well. Here is the full list of amazing prizes that were offered (in no particular order):

A heartfelt thank you to all our vendors for donating such incredible prizes. We’re truly fortunate to have built relationships with some of the most generous and respected names in the industry—and even luckier to call many of you friends.

Driver Change Challenge

At the end of the day, it’s all about having fun. Over the years, we’ve made it a point to include some kind of friendly competition at our anniversary parties—like the year GGLC set up a full-blown drift trike autocross (complete with their signature timing system, of course!).

One Year Anniversary Party Drift Trike Autocoross

This time around, we rolled out the shop Lotus Exige for a Driver Swap Challenge—teams of two raced to pull off the fastest driver change. It was a tight competition, but Lilly and Elliot clinched the win with an impressive 17.66 seconds! They didn’t quite beat Jon and Matteo’s benchmark of 13.77 seconds, but considering they’d never even sat in a Lotus before, their performance was seriously impressive. Their reward? A cool $500 in cash!

Congrats Lilly and Elliot!

Big thanks to GGLC for jumping in on our last-minute request to help make this challenge happen!

Special Thanks

Team Trackspec

Thank you to our team—Lamson, Mike, Nathan, and Matteo. We’re incredibly proud of your work ethic and the way you come together as a team. Thank you for showing up every day and giving it your all. And extra thanks for helping pull everything together for the party!

Joe’s Taco Shop

A friend recommended this taco truck, not just for their great reputation, but because they also offer vegan and gluten-free options—which was a must for me. I always try to choose vendors that can accommodate a range of dietary needs, whether it’s for health reasons or personal beliefs. And let’s be real—I want to be able to eat too (lol). Joe and his team did not disappoint. The vegan burrito was delicious, and everyone had amazing things to say about the food. Huge thanks for keeping everyone well-fed—we hope to have you back at future events!

Pour Decisions

When I plan events for Trackspec, I always try to work with vendors I know and trust. A little backstory—Vince and I go way back. I first met him when I worked as a tutor and he was my manager. Years later, he helped launch Caviar and brought me onto the team. To this day, he’s still one of my bosses I’ve ever had! Now, he runs Pour Decisions in San Jose (amongst so many other ventures) and is getting ready to open a second location—right here in Fremont! Having him and his team at our party was a no-brainer. Thank you, Vince and Pour Decisions, for coming through. The drinks were a hit!

DJ Chris

Jon and I have a pretty eclectic taste in music—and for us, music is everything. It sets the tone, creates the vibe, and really brings an event to life. While we love all our DJ friends, we wanted to try something a little different this time and bring in someone who shares that same diverse taste. Enter Chris—a good friend I’ve known since high school—who absolutely nailed it. Thank you for providing the perfect soundtrack to our celebration!

Volunteers

I always underestimate how much help we’ll need—but with the kind of turnout we had, our small volunteer crew definitely had their hands full. Huge thank you to Maria, Will, Marc, and Justine for holding it down and making everything run smoothly. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Trevor Ryan

Photos are a big deal to us, and there’s no one we trust more than Trevor Ryan. He’s captured all of our past anniversary parties, so having him shoot our 11th was an easy choice. Thank you, Trevor, for consistently providing us with amazing photos over the years—we’re so lucky to have your talent behind the lens!

Golden Gate Lotus Club

The support we’ve received from GGLC over the years has been absolutely invaluable—they’re a huge reason we’re still here today. We can’t thank this organization enough. Thank you for being one of the kindest, most genuine groups we’ve had the pleasure of working with. Whether it’s donating to our raffles, helping us set up fun games, or just showing up with good energy and a great attitude, you always come through. You manage to keep things fun, lighthearted, and full of community spirit—and we’re so grateful to have you in our corner.

Customers, Friends & Family

Thank you to all our customers, friends and family who’ve believed in us since the beginning. The way everyone came together for us was truly incredible—we’re still in awe of the support and love you’ve shown.

Notes for the Next Party

We truly appreciate all the kind words and thoughtful feedback about the party—it means the world to us. We also want to acknowledge a few concerns that came up—because we’re always learning and doing our best to make each event better than the last.

Big apologies to everyone who had to wait in line for the bathroom! We know it wasn’t ideal having just one available, and we really appreciate your patience. Next time, we’ll make sure to bring in an extra (portable) restroom or two to help things move along more smoothly.

We also want to acknowledge the parking situation—it's something we've struggled with for past events as well. We’re sorry to those who had to park farther away. Unfortunately, it’s a bit out of our hands, but for future parties, we’re considering getting a permit to turn Stevenson into a proper “block party” space.

We also heard from a few folks who didn’t know about the party—I'm really sorry for the communication miss. We had a family emergency the week leading up to the event and, truthfully, almost canceled the whole thing. I had planned to send out a newsletter since I know not everyone is on social media, but with everything going on, it slipped through the cracks. Going forward, we’ll make sure to communicate through all our channels so no one misses out.

Final Words

As we look back on our 11-year anniversary celebration, we’re honestly overwhelmed with gratitude. The love, support, and energy you all brought reminded us exactly why we do what we do. Seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and feeling the community come together in such a big way—it meant more than we can put into words. Thank you for believing in us, growing with us, and being part of this journey. We wouldn’t be here without you. Here’s to the road ahead—and many more years of doing what we love with all of you by our side.
