Trackspec Autosports Porsche LWB Seat Recliner Brackets

These instructions only apply to our 992.2 brackets

Kit Contents

One kit will work on either driver or passenger seat.

  • x2 symmetrical brackets

  • x2 M8 bolts

  • x4 M8 nuts

  • x4 M8 washers

Tools Needed

  • 13mm wrench

  • T40 Torx

  • 5mm Allen

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Unbolt Pivoting Arm

Unbolt the pivoting arm from both sides of the seat using a T40 Torx and a 13mm wrench. If access is too tight for you, you can unbolt the seat from the car and lean it back. If you need to remove the seat completely, don't forget to disconnect the battery for a few minutes before unplugging the seat.

Step 2: Install Seat Recliner Brackets

Thread the supplied M8 bolt into the seat base from the inside out until it bottoms out (snug).

Install the seat recliner bracket with the supplied washer and nut. The bracket may be tight interfacing the seat base. This is normal and you can use the bolt/nut to squeeze them together. While holding the Allen bolt steady, torque the nut to 18 ft lbs.

Attach the pivot arm to the seat recliner bracket using the original bolt and thread it into the bracket until it bottoms out (snug). Use the supplied washer and nut to lock the bolt in place. While holding the Torx bolt steady, torque the nut to 18ft lbs.

NOTE: With the seat in the lowest position, the plastic panel circled may rub the seat rail when towards the forward position.
