Suspension Built for the 111R // JRZ Limited-Time Offer

If you own a Lotus Elise or Exige, you already know there’s not much else that delivers the same kind of driving experience. Lightweight, communicative, and purpose-built — it’s one of the best driver’s cars ever made. That said, suspension is one of the areas where the car can be transformed even further. A properly developed damper package doesn’t just improve grip — it changes the way the entire car feels underneath you. We’ve had great experiences with JRZ Suspension Engineering systems on Lotus platforms, especially for drivers looking for a suspension setup that works exceptionally well both on track and on the street. Their dampers are thoughtfully engineered, highly tunable, and backed by years of real motorsport development and testing.

To celebrate Memorial Day, JRZ is currently offering special pricing on all four of their Lotus 111R applications for a limited time.

Sale Ends May 29, 2026

JRZ RS ONE — Single Adjustable

The perfect entry point into the JRZ family. The RS ONE offers a single combined adjustment for compression and rebound damping, giving you meaningful control without complexity. Engineered specifically for the Exige's geometry and weight distribution, this is the upgrade that transforms everyday driving without demanding engineering expertise. If you want a genuine step up from factory suspension with a clean, no-fuss setup, the RS ONE is where you start.

JRZ RS PRO — Twin Adjustable

For drivers who spend time on both road and track, the RS PRO delivers independent compression and rebound adjustment — two separate dials, two separate characteristics, fully tunable to your conditions. Soften it up for the morning commute. Firm it up for the circuit. The RS PRO is the 111R owner's most versatile tool, backed by the same theoretical development and real-world validation that underpins every JRZ product.

JRZ RS PRO3 — Three-Way Adjustable (Most Popular)

This is where serious drivers tend to land. The RS PRO3 gives you independent control over low-speed compression, high-speed compression, and rebound — three separate circuits, each with its own precise adjustment. Low-speed compression governs body motion through corners and under braking. High-speed compression handles the sharp, aggressive inputs — kerbs, bumps, and track surface variation. Rebound controls how quickly the wheel returns to the road after a compression event. That level of separation means you can dial out a specific handling characteristic without disturbing everything else. It's the kind of precision that race engineers use, now available in a road-legal package developed specifically for the Exige. It's our most popular unit for a reason.

JRZ PROactive — Active Suspension System

The pinnacle of what JRZ builds. The PROactive system uses electronic, continuously adaptive damping control to read and respond to road and track conditions in real time — adjusting damper behaviour faster than any manual intervention could achieve. The result is a system that is simultaneously more compliant over road imperfections and more controlled under hard cornering loads than any passive damper can be.

Why JRZ?

There are a lot of suspension options out there for the 111R, but not all of them are developed specifically around the chassis. One of the things we appreciate about JRZ Suspension Engineering is that their approach goes far beyond simply adapting an off-the-shelf setup to fit the car. Their development process combines actual engineering calculations with extensive real-world testing. Spring rates, damping characteristics, motion ratios, and overall balance are all carefully considered, then validated through track testing and driver feedback. The end result is a setup that feels cohesive and predictable — not something that only works well on paper.

Another thing that stands out with JRZ is the usable adjustment range. The changes you make to the dampers produce meaningful differences you can actually feel, which makes dialing the car in far more effective whether you’re chasing lap times or refining street manners.

They’ve also been very helpful from a support standpoint. Having access to knowledgeable people who can help interpret driver feedback and guide setup changes makes a huge difference, especially for owners still learning what their car responds to.

More Questions?

Feel free to reach out to us if you’d like to discuss which setup makes the most sense for your driving style, budget, and overall goals for the car. Whether it’s primarily a street car, dual-purpose setup, or dedicated track car, we’re happy to help point you in the right direction.
